Mrs. Harness’ Web Wing

The 2009-2010 school year will be my second year teaching at Stonewall Jackson Elementary.  I am very excited to have the opportunity to teach and learn with the Fourth Graders this year.  I value all students and respect what each child brings into the classroom.  I believe that all students deserve what is necessary to allow them to be successful.  I will seek to understand the learning style of every student in my classroom and use that knowledge to help every child succeed.

I recently graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Master of Education degree.  I also hold a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from ETSU. 

 Mrs. Harness is a teacher, a wife, a sister, a daughter, a lifelong learner…  I grew up in Abingdon, VA and attended Washington County Virginia Public Schools.  I am married to my husband Justin.  We have two dogs named Rogan and Nutmeg.  I enjoy reading, cooking, quilting, attending Virginia Tech football games and spending time on South Holston Lake.
